Welcome back to the Orr Lake Wednesday Retired Mixed League! We are so excited about the changes this year and are anxious to get started in May.

This year, as many of you know, we are reverting back to our old ways and making all of our Retirees Mixed Leagues, shotgun starts!(YAY!) For those of you that don’t know, a shotgun start is a format in which all groups of players tee off simultaneously from different holes. Each hole on a course will be the starting hole for one or more foursomes. Our hope for this is having a more social environment for everyone which means more fun.

The way this will work is everyone will meet every Wednesday Morning at 8:10am in the Dancehall. From there we will start drawing names based on who is there that day to create our groups and then send everyone off at 8:30am. Don’t worry, if you have anyone that you want to be playing with every week, that is still an option. We will have a permanent card with all 4(or 3, or 2) names on it that can be drawn every week.
